Research and evidence
Public product pages and samples · Reviewed Oct 1, 2026. No independent paid-product testing.
Choose RN-specific NGN cases and explanations before comparing question counts. UWorld combines teaching and practice; Bootcamp emphasizes case walkthroughs; Archer’s base tier emphasizes question practice.
Current exam coverage
RN client-needs categories, entry-level nursing activities and clinical judgment. 2026 RN test plan, effective April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2029. The PN blueprint is a separate examination scope.
The 2026 RN plan includes clinical judgment and sample item types, alongside management-of-care responsibilities. A recall-only bank would leave a gap in practice for decisions within evolving clinical cases.
UWorld’s selected course includes review videos, answer explanations, adaptive practice and a planner. Bootcamp adds video case walkthroughs and study schedules, useful when seeing the reasoning process is the priority.
Archer’s Q-Bank + CAT includes NGN cases and adaptive practice, but its comparison table excludes on-demand review and video-enhanced rationales from that base tier. Those belong to other packages.
The UWorld 60-day tier includes two self-assessments; longer tiers add more and may add a reset. Bootcamp lists four readiness exams. These inclusions help plan practice, but do not independently validate commercial passing predictions.
Public prices are $169 for UWorld’s 60-day course and a displayed $129 for three months of Bootcamp or Archer’s base Q-Bank + CAT. Sale prices and course-plus-book bundles are distinct purchases.
UWorld is recommended first when one package must provide both content explanation and question review. Bootcamp is a reasonable alternative for case walkthroughs and a longer study window. Archer’s base tier suits candidates who already have teaching resources and need additional practice. This order reflects the stated use cases, not a measured pass-rate advantage.

RN candidates choosing one primary package according to their need for explanations, video case teaching or practice-focused access.
When you need more information
PN candidates, or learners selecting a product solely by its advertised pass rate or predicted chance of passing.
Price checks
October 1 public pages show UWorld 60 days at $169; Bootcamp three months at a displayed $129 with $239 crossed out; Archer base three months at $129 with $159 crossed out. The latter two are displayed promotions, not guaranteed future prices.
Public product descriptions and official item examples were reviewed; full paid banks, CAT algorithms and instructional accuracy were not independently tested.
Question totals may include self-assessment items. A larger displayed total does not establish greater learning value.
Readiness labels and provider-reported pass rates were not used as independent outcome evidence.
Provider descriptions may change. Unknown prices remain unverified; a free sample is not treated as a complete free course. This guide compares the listed alternatives and does not claim to include every seller.
